ESG disclosure score


Rating is designed to measure a company’s resilience to long-term, industry material environmental, social and governance (ESG) risks. Rating uses rules-based methodology to identify industry leaders and laggards according to their exposure to ESG risks and how well they manage those risks relative to peers.

Bloomberg ESG disclosure score

Rates companies on their level of ESG disclosure. This score helps investors assess the company’s transparency, risks, and opportunities.

RAEX (RAEX ESG Corporate Ranking)

An ESG rating represents the opinion of the Agency on the environmental, social and governance strengths and weaknesses of a rated entity. These ratings allow to compare an entity’s performance with other peers and can be used by investors in the process of investment decision making and in the course of responsible investment portfolio selection.

Refinitiv (Thomson Reuters)

The Refinitiv ESG score measures the company’s ESG performance based on verifiable reported data in the public domain. It captures and calculates over 450 company-level ESG measures, of which a subset of 186 of the most comparable and material per industry power the overall company assessment and scoring process.

UNGC (United Nations Global Compact)

Voluntary initiative based on CEO commitments to implement universal sustainability principles and to take steps to support UN Goals.

CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project)

A not-for-profit charity that runs the global disclosure system for investors, companies, cities, states and regions to manage their environmental impacts. Over the past 20 years CDP has created a system that has resulted in unparalleled engagement on environmental issues worldwide.

GRI (Global Reporting Initiative)

The independent global initiative whose standards and recommendations help businesses and other organizations prepare sustainability reports and disclose information about their impacts on the environment and society.

IPIECA (International Petroleum Industry Environmental Conservation Association)

International association of representatives of the oil and gas industry for environmental protection and social issues. IPIECA brings together the collective experience and knowledge of oil and gas companies and associations that account for more than half of the world’s oil production. The Association serves as the main channel of communication of the oil and gas industry with the United Nations and helps industrial companies to improve environmental and social indicators.

TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures)

The TCFD recommendations on climate-related financial disclosures are widely adoptable and applicable to organizations across sectors and jurisdictions. They are designed to solicit decision-useful, forward-looking information that can be included in mainstream financial filings.
